The North Beach Byron Site has had a long and sometimes controversial history. The property was originally the site of “Globetrotters” Caravan Park. In the mid 1980’s, PLANNERS NORTH Partnership Principal Steve Connelly obtained consent for a comprehensive cabin development know as “Byron Bay Beach Resort”. Later Club Med and BECTON, each sought to develop the land for tourism purposes.
More recently PLANNERS NORTH Partnership Principal Kate Singleton has obtained the relevant approvals for Stage 2 of “Elements” resort.
