Tallowood Ridge is an estate west of the township of Mullumbimby. In 2010 Concept Plans were prepared and approved for the overall development of this land in stages. That concept proposal approval was sanctioned by the Land and Environment Court and addresses density, roads, open space provision, biodiversity management and a range of other site planning matters. In 2013 the partnership undertook a comprehensive re-planning of the site in relation to koala habitat management, resulting in a planning proposal for the land.
